Hi! I'm Chef Doug.
Before launching Food Ignites, I was the chef at various restaurants, spa resorts and local hospitals including Inova Fair Oaks hospital. This wide experience built my expertise in working with a diverse audience, including those who require special dietary needs.
Now as a dad, I channel my passion and energy for culinary into teaching children the importance of healthy eating. I partner with schools and private organizations to teach and develop culinary lessons for kids.
I am an alumni of Johnson & Wales University and have a Bachelors in Culinary Nutrition and Associates in Culinary Arts.

Doug has been the mastermind of my kitchen at a number of events I've hosted. From my daughter's birthday parties to delighting the tastebuds of my adult friends, the dishes he prepares are fabulous and delightful!
